Welcome Back!

Wow!  It was so nice to meet all of you!  Everyone seemed so sweet, including parents and students!  We have a big week ahead of us, and I hope you all are ready for the busyness that comes with the beginning of school.

Some information that may be of importance to you:

1. We WILL have homework this week.  I know, I know!  It's the first week!  I promise, it is fun homework!

• Monday: The first night will be a worksheet titled "The Big Day!"  I will also be sending home a blog permission slip.  Please check that out. 
• Tuesday: Me sacks.  These are due Friday.
• Wednesday-Thursday: Work on me sacks.

2. In math, we will begin touchpoint math.  Watch this short video to learn more about it.  

3. Please, sign up for Remind 101!!  It is going to be a great resource for you and me to communicate!  Just text @ddf61 to 615-208-4192.  This video is for teachers, but it explains the program very thoroughly.



4. Please know that if you click on "calendar" up top, it will show important dates for not only our classroom, but also our school and county!

As you can see, I've been very busy with school work this weekend getting ready to begin school on Monday!  Parents, please sign the blog permission slip so I can start putting pictures of the students up lickity split!
