Friday was so fun! We spent a lot of time discussing our reading story, Miss Bindergarten goes on a Field Trip with Kindergarten. In the story, the students visit many places. One of the places is a fire station. What is at a fire station? A fire truck of course! So, we made yummy fire trucks to eat!
Here we are at the very beginning smoothing in the icing! Molly is really enjoying licking the icing off the spoon!

Evan and Madden got a little on their hands, and they just had to lick it off!
The final product: a delicious fire truck!!

Next it was time to eat. Gracie is doing one of our power cheers: twist it, break it, lick, lick, yummmm!

Well, I'm sideways, but can you still tell what I'm dressed up as? That's right, a fireman! Alyssa's daddy works on fire trucks. He borrowed some gear to share with us. He asked me to put it on! The students really got a kick out of this :)
